Drawing on his extensive experience in legal practice, Anthony has held a number of senior positions on boards and associations throughout Australia, including Chairman of what is now the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics from ANU, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from ANU and Master of Laws (Highest Honours) from George Washington University. He has also been honoured to the level of Order of Australia (AM) and was awarded the Centennial Medal in 2003.
Anthony's specialty includes corporate and commercial law, particularly corporate financing, takeovers, trade practices, collective investments and regulatory issues.
Greg is the Managing Director of Kern Consulting Group (KCG), a corporate advisory firm specializing in corporate finance, strategic planning and resolving complex commercial matters.
Prior to establishing KCG in 1994, Greg worked for Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. His experience includes the resolution of a number of significant commercial disputes, arranging large finance packages and negotiating material commercial contracts.
KCG undertook the role of Lead Advisor for the successful listing of CEC Group Ltd.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a Chartered Accountant, a registered company auditor, an Insolvency Practitioner and an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia and Institute of Internal Auditors.
Greg is also a contract auditor for the Queensland Audit Office.
John co-founded Hutchison's Child Care Services in 1992 and held numerous roles in the company, including CEO and alternate Director. During his time with the business, John was involved with all operational aspects, including the establishment of the Hutchison's Child Care College, all business licensing processes, the IT strategy and new business acquisition initiatives.
Prior to John's involvement in the child care industry, John co owned and operated news agencies, wholesale horticulture nurseries and management rights, all of which became successful and profitable businesses.
John has a comprehensive understanding of the Australian child care industry and its current direction. He is a current member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). John is also a past member of the Australian Federation of Child Care Associations (AFCCA), the Queensland Professional Child Care Centres Association (QPCCCA) and the Childcare Industry Association of Queensland (CIAQ).
