From Child Care Assistant to
Operations Manager

Operations Manager, Early Learning Services

Jae started his career in child care in 1999, beginning as a Child Care Assistant. Through his experience he was then able to progress to the position of Group Leader/Preschool Teacher before becoming a Centre Director.

After spending two years as a Centre Director, Jae was then promoted to a Regional Manager position where he was responsible for the management of 24 centres in Queensland and Tasmania.

Jae joined Early Learning Services in October 2006, in the position of Operations Manager. It is in this role that he is responsible for managing, supporting and guiding all Early Learning Services’ centres to provide quality care and education but to also operate as successful businesses.

In this position, Jae is responsible for all centre operations including all centre staff and centre support staff.

Jae enjoys working for Early Learning Services as they are a family orientated company with a focus on a healthy balance between business management and child care education. The company places high emphasis on the Centre Directors having ownership of their centres and being heavily supported by a team of child care trained Support Officers.
