Lavender Lane Child Care Centre at Gungahlin is a new, purpose built centre which offers families in Gungahlin and surrounding suburbs access to quality child care, through providing an educational and fun filled facility for long day care.

The centre has nutritious seasonal menus providing morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.

Imaginative and developmentally appropriate programs are developed to foster and nurture each child’s individual learning needs. A structured pre-school program is in place at the centre for children aged 3 – 6 years, with the aim of preparing children for the next stage of their education.

The centre offers seven rooms, each room has facilities, toys and equipment tailored to each particular age group.

The centre has qualified, professional and caring staff who aim to create an educational, fun, nurturing and caring environment in which children can develop a positive approach towards learning and playing. Staff value and respect each family’s needs and beliefs on an individual basis and encourage parent involvement and participation in their child’s day.
