Anthony G Hartnell (AM)
Chairman

Anthony G Hartnell (AM) Drawing on his extensive experience in legal practice, Anthony has held a number of senior positions on boards and associations throughout Australia, including Chairman of what is now the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics from ANU, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from ANU and Master of Laws (Highest Honours) from George Washington University. He has also been honoured to the level of Order of Australia (AM) and was awarded the Centennial Medal in 2003.

Anthony's specialty includes corporate and commercial law, particularly corporate financing, takeovers, trade practices, collective investments and regulatory issues.

Gregory G Kern
Non Executive Director

Gregory G KernGreg is the Managing Director of Kern Consulting Group (KCG), a corporate advisory firm specializing in corporate finance, strategic planning and resolving complex commercial matters.

Prior to establishing KCG in 1994, Greg worked for Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. His experience includes the resolution of a number of significant commercial disputes, arranging large finance packages and negotiating material commercial contracts.

KCG undertook the role of Lead Advisor for the successful listing of CEC Group Ltd.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a Chartered Accountant, a registered company auditor, an Insolvency Practitioner and an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia and Institute of Internal Auditors.

Greg is also a contract auditor for the Queensland Audit Office.

Andrea J P Staines
Non Executive Director

Andrea J P StainesAndrea joined Early Learning Services` board in May 2009 and brings with her extensive experience is the areas of revenue generation and expense control as well as a strong interest in the areas of corporate goverance and risk management.

Previous roles held by Andrea include CEO and General Manager of numerous corporations as well as being an advisor to various executives and entities.

Andrea holds an MBA (finance major) from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland and is a graduate of the AICD Company Director Course.

Today Andrea is a full-time Non Executive Director and Corporate Advisor.

Christopher P Sacre 
Chief Executive and Financial Officer

Christopher SacreChristopher has been involved with Early Learning Services since early 2007 when he provided Financial consultative services, as an Advisory Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, to the business in the lead up to the public listing.  Christopher joined Early Learning Services in January 2008 and was later appointed as the Company's Chief Financial Officer in May 2008, where he is responsible for financial management including reporting, forecasting (short term and long term growth) and centre acquisitions.

Being Charter Accountant qualified, Christopher provides invaluable experience and skills from a business and financial perspective.
