Our programs

Our qualified carers plan experiences which develop children’s skills in all developmental areas. Children have the opportunity for both indoor and outdoor play as part of each group’s routine. Our routines allow times for individual play, small group play and large group sessions. We aim to guide you child in becoming an effective learner through creating an environment that is challenging and stimulating

The overall aim of our programs is to help your child in developing all areas necessary for success now and in later years.

Active Prep

This program has been designed to introduce children to a pre-prep program and prepare them for school. This program has been developed from the same curriculum guidelines as the prep program implemented into schools.  Our active prep program is based on five key areas:

  • Active kids – Language and Literacy Skills
  • Active Bodies – Sports Program
  • Active Learning – Science Program
  • Active Minds – Math’s Program
  • Active self – Life Skills program.

Each area has numerous broad goals, which are implemented into a program each week. These goals are used to monitor and assess each individual child’s progress and development throughout the year.

Holiday Club

During school holidays, most Early Learning Services centres will conduct a vacation care program for school aged children. The program provides a stimulating and challenging environment for children while also providing a care solution for parents over the school holiday periods. Activities as part of the Holiday Club program include games days, picnics, movies, craft sessions, excursions to local attractions and more.

Please note that not all centres offer this service, so please check with your local centre regarding availability.

Before and After School Care

Before and After School Care is offered depending on the centres license and ratios of children to staff members. Many centres offer a FREE courtesy bus to drop off and pick up children from school. School aged children are offered both educational and ‘play’ activities before and after school.
