Bundaberg Early Learning Centre

See how we’re inspiring learning for life at Bundaberg Early Learning Centre. Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Bundaberg that is perfect for families living or commuting through Bundaberg or nearby suburbs, Avoca, Branyan, Millbank, West and Parklands. We’re conveniently located just down the road from Stockland Shopping Centre and IGA Avoca.

From the moment you step foot into our Bundaberg child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, gardens, cubby houses and play equipment to engage all the senses. Our centre offers three separate outdoor play spaces for our different age groups including 0 - 2 years, 2 - 4 years, and 3.5 years - school age.

Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

Healthy, freshly made lunches and afternoon tea are supplied and delivered fresh daily by local community cafe, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

No two days are ever the same at our Bundaberg Early Learning Centre. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including language, cooking experiences, and an indigenous artist program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.

Our educators and children venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby parks, aged care centres, schools (Avoca State School and Branyan State School) and shops. Our centre is also conveniently located close to shops which helps us build great community connections with excursions to Woolworths, aged care centres, and local parks.

We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

Our centre provides school aged care with an engaging Before and After School Care and Outside School Hours Care program and Vacation care Program. School aged children are provided experiences at our centre which extends on their learning from school in our environment.
