Clean hands and big hearts: How Early Learning Services is handling COVID-19
As we continue to navigate ‘the new normal’, the health and safety of Early Learning Services families and team members remain our highest priority.
We understand that information, kindness and support are currently essential in keeping all children, families and teams feeling reassured. Below, you’ll find a number of resources to help at this time.
Enrolling across centres
We are welcoming bookings at our centres to cater to your full requirements and establish our close connections with families.
We do understand that the COVID-19 situation has resulted in a challenging economic climate for our country, and we know some families may require assistance regarding understanding the options available to them.
Our ultimate purpose is to ensure all our families have all the tools and information at their disposal to feel confident in their children’s continued journey in early childhood education. Click here to read our guide to the Child Care Subsidy and feel free to contact us to discuss your options.
How will my child be protected in their centre?
All Early Learning Services centres are using Zoono Hand Sanitiser and Zoono Microbe Shield to provide the highest level of protection for children while also protecting their skin.
Dermatologically tested and ultra-gentle, with no harmful chemicals, Zoono products last all day on skin and up to 28 days on surfaces while fighting bacteria and fungi. Zoono Hand Sanitiser also keeps killing 99.9% of germs for up to 24 hours, even after normal activity and hand washing.
Many other initiatives have also been introduced, including Visitor Entry Guidelines, daily updates to our support teams, suspension of face-to-face training, more vigorous cleaning routines and separating cohorts of children where possible, to name a few. Click here to see our full COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan.
An important reminder for families: If a child is unwell, or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that they do not attend their centre. To maintain the safety and wellbeing of all children and team members, we will ask parents to collect any child that begins to show symptoms throughout their day in centre.
These symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or a runny nose. We will also ask parents to collect children experiencing headaches, muscle soreness, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
We appreciate your consideration and understanding at this time.
