See how we’re inspiring learning for life at Victoria Point Early Learning Centre. Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Victoria Point that is ideal for families living or commuting through Victoria Point or nearby suburbs Mount Cotton, Redland Bay, Rochedale South, and Thornlands. We’re located on the corner of Benfer Road and Poinciana Avenue, just down the road from St Rita’s Catholic Primary School.
From the moment you walk through the doors of our Victoria Point child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our spacious outdoor areas feature gardens, sandpits, water play area, and play equipment to engage all the senses. Children are given the time and space for uninterrupted play to explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
Let us take care of preparing lunch and snacks for your child. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Our Victoria Point child care centre offers a different learning adventure every day. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including sport and a music and movement program. For an extra fee there is the option for older children to participate in swimming lessons. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Extending upon experiences at school and at home, our school age care programs provide children from 5 – 12 years with a positive social environment designed for play, leisure and learning.
Children and educators explore our local community for excursions visiting the nearby retirement village and library. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These include visits from occupational therapists, speech therapists, and visits from local high school students for reading time. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
