Centre Manager - Little Angel's Early Learning Centre (Bunbury)

“I observe how children learn and then create fun and engaging learning experiences tailored to their needs.”

My career in early learning began in 2007, and I joined the team at Bunbury Little Angels in 2013. With a diploma in early childhood education and care, I have held various roles, including Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager.

Inspired by my school experiences, I have always been passionate about the foundations of learning and how we learn. I love supporting children's learning and helping build their educational foundation. Over the years, I have learnt that each child learns uniquely and that their skills and development vary. This understanding shapes my teaching style, as I observe how children learn and then create fun and engaging learning experiences tailored to their needs. My passion for helping children learn and start their life journey is evident in my everyday practices, as I am always ready to listen, support, and guide the children.

In a dedicated early learning environment, children enhance their social skills and learn from one another. Educators continually upskill their knowledge to provide children with the best start in life and are committed to lifelong learning. Our care environment, guided by the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), allows children to prepare for school years in a fun setting that caters to all their needs.

I lead a strong, dedicated team with many long-term members. Our passion is evident in our daily interactions with the children and their families. We support families by listening to them and gathering information about their child's interests, strengths, skills, and more. We adapt this information to our care environment and demonstrate our respect and attentiveness to families. We also support families by addressing their concerns and sharing our knowledge and skills, working together as a community to support children's growth and development.
