St Albans Sweet Sounds Early Learning Centre

Inspiring learning for life at St Albans Sweet Sounds Early Learning Centre. Our early learning and long day child care centre is perfect for families living or commuting through St Albans or nearby suburbs Albanvale, Deer Park and Kings Park. Located a short walk from St Albans train station, with the local bus route stopping near the front of the service, we are located closely to the local shopping precinct and easily accessible for our families.

As you open the door to our centre, you will be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our natural outdoor area which includes sandpits, bike track, vegetable garden and a range of exciting play equipment for your child to explore with friends. Children are provided uninterrupted time and space to explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

On-site parking is available for easy pick-ups and drop-offs and a courtesy bus for drop off to and from school. We also offer a vacation care program across Victorian government school holidays. We plan our programs utilising the children’s interests, theme days for the children to participate in and contacting local organisations for incursions and excursions.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration in our innovative and engaging resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as scientists, artists, architects, storytellers and designers.

The centre kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. Enjoy the smell of freshly cooked food as you enter our centre. There is no need to pack your child lunch as nutritious meals and snacks created daily by our qualified in-house chef catering for all dietary requirements.

Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including music and movement, yoga and cooking experiences lead by educators. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program. Our educators and children explore our local community with excursions to nearby locations including parks and the library. We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning.
