See how we’re inspiring learning for life at West Ryde Early Learning Centre. Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in West Ryde that is perfect for families living or commuting through West Ryde or nearby suburbs Denistone, Minchinbury, and Ryde. We’re conveniently located on Parkes Street close to Top Ryde Shopping Centre and public transport.
As soon as you walk into our West Ryde child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover and learn. Our spacious outdoor environments feature sandpits, gardens, cubby houses and play equipment to engage all the senses.
We ensure children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
You will never need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Healthy, freshly made meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Each and every day is a new experience for learning at our West Ryde child care centre. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including a yoga program. For an additional fee our centre also offer creative dance class for our children. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Our educators and children venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby parks, shops and more. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These visits include science programs, responsible pet ownerships, dental health, sight and hearing checks, a sustainability program and more. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
