See how we’re inspiring learning for life at North Ryde Early Learning Centre (Macquarie Park). Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Macquarie Park that is perfect for families living or commuting through Macquarie Park or nearby suburbs Epping, North Ryde, Ryde, and Schofields in Sydney. We are located behind the Toshiba Building in the heart of Macquarie Park and conveniently located near public transport with a bus stop right in front of centre and a 10-minute walk to the train station.
From the moment you step foot into our Macquarie Park child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, gardens, cubby houses and play equipment to engage all the senses. We also have two rabbits at the centre that the children help to look after which builds responsibility.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There is no need for you to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
No two days are the same at our Macquarie Park child care centre. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including movement and nutrition programs. Our preschool children also can participate in swimming lessons for an additional fee. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Our educators and children venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby schools and local parks. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. This includes visits from the local emergency services, Ryde police, Ryde fire station, indigenous elders, and more.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
