Inspiring learning for life at Little Blossoms Child Care Centre. Our long day care and early education centre provides child care and kindergarten in Werribee that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Wyndham Vale, Manor Lakes, Tarneit and Point Cook, Mabourin and Hoppers Crossing in Melbourne. Our long day care and kindergarten centre provides on-site parking and is conveniently located on Ballan Road Service Road. We’re open 6.30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Our Werribee child care and kindergarten centre is proud to have received Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard encompasses the seven key quality areas that are important outcomes for children’s learning and development.

Learning spaces that spark creativity

We offer purpose-built indoor spaces with well resourced role play, construction and creative areas. Each area is specifically designed with young learners in mind and supports us in running several small group activities with children.

Our outdoor environments have large spacious areas, these include climbing equipment, sandpits, mud kitchen and more ensuring children can make the most of messy and sensory play to continuously grow and develop.

A dedicated team of educators

The highly trained team of longstanding educators are hand-picked to support the children and their learning and developmental growth. We have a culturally diverse team who strives to create a calm, comfortable environment where each child feels safe, secure and supported. You will receive daily updates and photos detailing children’s learning and development on our parent App.

Inclusive menus designed by in-house chef

Our children enjoy meals prepared by our qualified in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan and halal options. Nappies, wipes, and sunscreen are also provided.

Exciting extracurricular activities

At Little Blossoms we are passionate about community and engraining ourselves in the neighbourhood. Throughout the year, our educators and children explore our local community with excursions to nearby locations including the library and local school. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments. We also regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning.

Our Kindergarten program is supported by the Victorian Government. Our centre proudly offers a kindergarten/preschool program to ensure your child is supported for their transition to school every step of the way. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills and more your child will become school ready.

Every day is a different adventure with children, but there are some key elements that make your child's time so enjoyable at Early Learning Services Centres. Scroll through the below to see what a typical day might look like.

Arrival at the centre

Experience a sense of belonging as you are welcomed by our friendly centre teams. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day. Our experienced educators will support you and your child with the morning transition from home to centre.

Mealtimes

Your child enjoys a nutritious menu prepared by our centre cooks. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences. Educators model healthy eating practices and social behaviours, and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines.

Infant care

Infants are held in educators’ arms for feeding. Bottle feeding with educators or breastfeeding with Mum provides one-on-one time for connection, talking gently and responding to baby’s cues. Everyday routines provide opportunities to strengthen relationships and build language skills through songs, games, and conversations.

Play-based learning

As your child plays, they develop dispositions for learning including curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience. Educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Play-based learning supports all areas of children’s development, including language and motor movement, memory, concentration, emotions, and social relationships.

Sleep, rest and relaxation

Sleep, rest and relaxation routines match your child’s individual needs. Effective sleep practices help children feel safe and secure to support better sleep. Opportunities for rest and relaxation are always available across the day. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who don’t sleep.

Heading home

Experience a sense of satisfaction that your child has enjoyed and benefited from their day at the centre. As you prepare to head home, speak with our friendly educators about your child’s learning and experiences across the day. We look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow.
