Conder Early Learning Centre

See how we’re inspiring learning for life at Conder Early Learning Centre. Our early learning and long day care centre provides child care in Conder that is ideal for families living or commuting through Conder or nearby suburbs Banks, Calwell, Gordon, and Theodore.

We are conveniently located just across the road from Lanyon Marketplace, Saint Clare of Assisi Primary School and our sister centre Lavender Lane Conder – Early Learning Services.

What makes our centre special is our genuine love for the children, education curriculum and the community feel. We have long-standing educator team who are always looking for ways to upskill their qualifications and knowledge. Our team is friendly, energetic, and very approachable where we all really enjoy what we do, and we genuinely love the children who we are privileged to educate. We have smaller room sizes which our families and children love and helps form those close bonds and relationships.

Our sustainability program and vegetable garden teach children how to grow food and care for the planet. We have a community pantry available for families and the community to donate or take any items as needed.

As soon as you walk through the doors of our Conder child care centre you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover and learn. Our spacious outdoor environments feature sandpits, natural gardens, water play area, and play equipment to engage all the senses. We provide children with time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

You will never need to organise preparing lunch or snacks. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

No two days are the same at our Conder early learning centre. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs including music and dance to develop fundamental skills, including Zumba, dance and yoga style programs.  Children and educators venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby aged care centres, reserves, Lanyon Marketplace, Saint Clare of Assisi Primary School, and library.

We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning. Monthly hairdresser visits from a local hairdresser with over 20 years’ experience and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. We have a strong community-focused program where we have two six-seater prams for the nursery children to head out on excursions to the local area.

Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
