Centre Manager - Greenhills Early Learning Centre (Croydon)

“I am passionate about creating a positive environment, where children can embrace challenges, explore and learn.”

I started working in early childhood education in 2015. I completed my Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) in 2018 and hold a current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma, and Child Protection Certificates.

I have been with G8 Education since 2019, working across two other G8 centres undertaking various roles such as an Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager and Centre Manager. I joined Greenhills Early Learning Centre as the Centre Manager in 2022.

I love interacting with young children and observing their growth and development. It's amazing to see children grow, as they learn and and absorb new things every day through play, interactions and exploration. Children should be viewed as unique and capable individuals, and when provided with hands-on learning environments, they are inspired to discover, explore and experiment. I believe all children deserve the best start in life and I am passionate in creating a positive environment, where they can develop their dispositions for learning.

The first five years of a child’s life is so important, and therefore early childhood education settings are a safe and enjoyable place where they can explore and learn to their full potential. With endless opportunities and experiences provided by our early childhood educators and teachers, the children can immerse themselves in a learning environment that is stimulating and exciting. Early childhood settings also allow children to build their confidence in their social skills, as they interact and build relationships with their peers and educators.

At our Greenhills centre, educators are dedicated and committed to ensuring our children have the best start in life. Our centre is an extension of the home environment and we work in partnership with families to understand each child's individual needs.

Communication is key in supporting and building relationship with our families. From running a tour for new families, to enrolling a child into our centre, we are dedicated to ensuring the family feels as comfortable as they can be. Families can contact us any time, through face-to-face interactions and via email or phone. We believe in the importance of building trusting relationships with families, knowing their child is safe and is having a great time at their home away from home.
