We’re conveniently located on Gundaroo Drive and a short drive from Gungahlin Village.
As soon as you open the doors to our Gungahlin child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover and learn. Our spacious outdoor areas feature sandpits, gardens, water play area, and play equipment to engage all the senses.
Children are provided with time and space for uninterrupted play to explore the outdoors testing their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
Let us take care of the work of preparing lunch and snacks for your child. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
At our Gungahlin child care centre every day is a different learning adventure. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including a yoga and music and movement program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These include visits from members of our indigenous community, learning about resposnsible pet ownership, sustainability and more. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
