Lavender Lane Conder

See how we’re inspiring learning for life at Lavender Lane Conder – Early Learning Services. Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Conder that is perfect for families living or commuting through Conder or nearby suburbs Banks, Calwell, Gordon, and Theodore.

Our child care centre is conveniently located just across the road from Lanyon Marketplace, Saint Clare of Assisi Primary School and our sister centre Conder Early Learning Centre – Early Learning Services.

From the moment you step into our Conder child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, gardens, water play area, cubby houses and play equipment to engage all the senses. Our centre is also home to chickens, where children learn about responsible pet ownership along with understanding sustainability and recycling. We provide children with time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

There is no need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Healthy, freshly made meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

No two days will be the same at our Conder child care centre. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including a music and movement program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.

Children and educators venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby reserves, Lanyon Marketplace, Saint Clare of Assisi Primary School, and library. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
