Inspiring learning for life at Sydney Cove Children's Centre Macquarie Park. Our early learning and long day care centre offers child care for families located within the Optus campus in a modern setting that is perfect for Optus and affiliated company staff. Our service is located outside building D of the OCS Optus campus. You can access our service near the 15-minute parking zones where our centre manager, Daniela, will greet you at the front door.
When stepping into our centre, you will experience a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our spacious outdoor environments are designed to inspire play-based exploration with features including sandpits, swings and other exciting play equipment that stimulates children’s gross motor and cognitive skills.
Children enjoy uninterrupted time and space to discover the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence, supporting children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor environments encourage exploration in our innovative and engaging resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as scientists, artists, architects, storytellers and designers.
Our centre kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. All our nutritious meals created daily by our in-house chef, Glenn who caters to all dietary requirements including Halal meals. Educators use mealtimes to enhance relationships with the children, giving them opportunities to share stories and experiences, and display healthy eating practices.
A wide range of specialised programs that are on a rotating schedule including Munch and Move, football, yoga, and Zumba classes in which enhance a fun and exciting program that enhance the daily program.
We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning through excursions within the local community as well as incursions from significant and educational guests such as the local fire and police department, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members as well as local dentist and doctors.
A strong community focused program where throughout the year, educators and nursery children venture out on excursions to our local community. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
